Together Health vs Simply Supplements: UK comparison

Together Health offers a focused range with prominent ingredient-source information; Simply Supplements offers wider choice and multibuy packs. Neither is the better retailer for every purchase. Compare the same nutrient, serving and buying commitment before choosing.

What this comparison covers

We compare published shopping information, not clinical outcomes. Both retailers sell food supplements, but two products containing the same nutrient can differ in formulation, amount and other ingredients. The examples below illustrate those differences; they are not interchangeable dose recommendations.

Product sources: Together Health marine magnesium and Simply Supplements magnesium bisglycinate. The servings supply different amounts and forms. The lower cost per serving does not establish equal absorption, greater suitability or better results.

What happens to a small basket?

Using the published standard delivery rates, the single-pack examples total £8.49 at Together Health and £14.98 at Simply Supplements. The second basket contains twice as many two-capsule servings, so comparing only the cash total would also be incomplete.

Over 30 labelled servings, the item-only costs are £7.49 and approximately £6.50 respectively. The Simply pack still requires paying for the whole tub upfront. This illustrates why both cost per serving and initial spend belong in a useful comparison.

Dietary preferences need product-level evidence

For vegan shoppers, inspect the nutrient source and the tablet or capsule ingredients. Together’s lichen-sourced D3 is a useful example of an explicitly identified source. Simply’s D3 2000 IU page is labelled vegetarian; we have not established it as vegan. That does not mean Simply has no vegan products: its magnesium bisglycinate is labelled vegan.

The vegan supplement guide explains these checks. Our vitamin D comparison keeps source, strength and price separate.

Subscriptions and returns can outweigh a small saving

Both offer recurring purchase options. Write down the repeat price and interval before considering a first-order saving. A subscription makes sense only if the product and delivery schedule suit your needs; cancellation of future orders may not undo a dispatched parcel.

Return policies also differ. Together’s published guarantee allows certain opened units within stated limits; Simply’s unwanted-goods policy specifies unopened products. Simply also advertises a separate conditional money-back promotion for selected products, which can cover one opened tub on a first purchase. Check current eligibility. Neither policy is an unconditional refund of all delivery charges. The linked brand offer pages summarise the restrictions and direct you to current terms.

Which would we shortlist?

  • Compare Together Health when a smaller initial pack, named ingredient source or a particular vegan formulation fits your brief.
  • Compare Simply Supplements when a larger pack and broader choice fit an already-defined product need.
  • Choose neither yet if you are unsure which nutrient or dose you need. Sorting that out is more useful than finding a lower price.

These retailers’ magnesium, vitamin and other products are not equivalent replacements for NMN. Visitors arriving from our historical VivaNMN pages should compare them as other supplement brands, not as a like-for-like substitute.
