Together Health magnesium review: marine blend and cost
Together Health marine magnesium provides a stated 198mg elemental magnesium in one capsule. It is a marine mineral blend, not magnesium glycinate. The 30-capsule pack makes a straightforward label comparison, although we have not tested absorption, tolerance or a purchased batch.

What “marine” means for this comparison
The product’s source and blend matter more than a broad impression of “natural”. The listed mineral forms are different from a product sold as glycinate. If you have been looking specifically for glycinate, this label does not meet that description.
The presence of several forms does not establish that a blend is clinically superior to a single form. We have not found product-specific evidence in this review that would justify ranking it as better absorbed or more suitable for sleep than the alternatives. We do not repeat those conclusions from customer anecdotes.
Cost per serving and delivered cost
At £7.49 for 30 one-capsule servings, the item cost is approximately 25.0p per serving. Using the published £1 standard delivery rate for this small basket, a single pack totals £8.49, or 28.3p per serving delivered. A different basket or delivery option changes that calculation.
The standard subscription option showed £6.74 for the pack, approximately 22.5p per serving before delivery. This is a recurring purchase. We have not verified introductory-offer eligibility or promotion stacking. The Together Health offer page explains the purchase conditions separately.
Practical strengths
- A clearly stated elemental amount for one capsule makes the serving arithmetic simple.
- The smaller pack limits the initial stock commitment compared with bulk tubs.
- Vegan labelling and a stated ingredient list help dietary screening.
These are label and purchasing advantages. They are not findings from personal use or laboratory analysis.
Limitations and questions to resolve
- The blend is not a substitute for a specifically requested unbuffered glycinate formulation.
- A smaller pack may cost more per serving than a larger competing pack.
- The coconut-containing ingredient list needs attention if relevant to your dietary restrictions.
- Batch-testing information needs to match the actual product and batch; we have not authenticated that match.
Read the product’s directions and cautions, and check suitability with a pharmacist if medicines or health conditions are involved. Do not increase the serving simply to match another product’s headline amount.
How it compares with Simply’s bisglycinate
Simply’s comparison product provides 300mg elemental magnesium per two capsules and contains a buffered bisglycinate/oxide blend. It is a different formulation and serving, not a like-for-like replacement. Its larger pack can reduce item cost per serving while increasing the upfront spend. Our Simply product review sets out those assumptions.
Our buying assessment
Shortlist this product if its marine blend, vegan specification and smaller pack suit your requirements. Choose based on the actual label rather than an expectation that “marine” means glycinate or that a mixed mineral source guarantees better outcomes.
